Fora existe o mundo

Fora existe o mundo emerged from a reflection on restlessness, expansion, and the desire to cross boundaries, inspired by Portuguese literature, the sea, the land, and the gestures of those who build and transform. Conceived in dialogue with the architecture of the space in which it was installed, the work incorporates circular forms, references to Portuguese azulejo tiles, and a colour palette drawn from the building itself. The figures and gestures that move through the composition suggest movement, discovery, and an openness to what lies beyond familiar boundaries. In its final version, the composition became more expansive and irregular, reinforcing precisely this sense of reaching outward. Fora existe o mundo thus speaks of the desire to move forward, to discover, and to remain open to wonder.
