Elos

Elos was inspired by efconsulting and its work with family businesses across different generations. The piece explores continuity, transformation, and the bonds that endure even as each person follows their own path. The forms and colours represent different generations, personalities, and contributions, all connected by a shared origin. The central figure evokes the founder, while the surrounding elements suggest succession, evolution, and the construction of a shared legacy. The work combines Arraiolos stitch tapestry with three-dimensional elements made from recycled plastic, bringing together tradition, innovation, and technology — a recurring thread throughout the artist’s practice. Ultimately, Elos is a reflection on family, legacy, and the ability to transform without losing one’s essence.
