HANGZHOU CULTURAL & CREATIVE INDUSTRY EXPO 2025

As part of Portugal Manual’s participation in the Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo 2025, Susana Cereja presented her work in China alongside a group of Portuguese artists and makers. Held in Hangzhou from 17 to 21 October, the event brought together projects dedicated to the cultural and creative industries from different parts of the world. During the fair, Susana also presented the Arraiolos stitch through live demonstrations, sharing the ancestral Portuguese technique that has become a central element of her contemporary artistic practice.
