ENERGY

Energy portrays a woman traversed by the marks of the past. The body appears as a territory where memory, wound and vitality coexist, containing an inner labyrinth that remains in motion. Successive lines of colour run through and surround the figure like electrical circuits, making visible an energy that usually remains hidden. Between warm and cool tones, the work builds a tension between what hardens and what resists. Despite the scars and apparent coldness, an affective, vulnerable and human dimension remains. The white outline around the figure acts as an aura, expanding the body beyond its physical limits. In Energy, lived experience is not only what leaves marks — it is also what continues to generate strength, warmth and energy.
