WPP CULT — O ARRAIOLOS DO FUTURO

Invited by WPP Cult, Susana Cereja presented the Inspirational Talk — O Arraiolos do futuro (The Future of Arraiolos) in Lisbon, sharing her artistic journey and the research she has developed around the traditional Arraiolos stitch. The talk reflected on the future of this ancestral Portuguese technique and on the possibility of preserving it through transformation, experimentation and contemporary creation. Drawing from her own practice, the artist explored the relationship between heritage, innovation and new ways of approaching textiles beyond their traditional context.
