CONTEXTILE 2024 — TEXTILE TALKS: HOOK UP!

Invited by Contextile — Contemporary Textile Art Biennial, Susana Cereja took part in the Textile Talks — Hook Up! at Centro Cultural Vila Flor in Guimarães. As part of the Life after school session, the artist presented her journey from her background in Architecture to the development of her artistic practice, sharing key projects and defining moments throughout her career. The talk also explored the process of building an artistic career, working across different territories and communities, and the way the Arraiolos stitch became the foundation of an evolving contemporary practice.
