PRAÇA DA ALEGRIA

Following her appearance on Tradição Z, Susana Cereja was invited to RTP1’s Praça da Alegria on 21 January 2026. Presented by Jorge Gabriel and Sónia Araújo, the 55-minute morning programme combines interviews, culture, music and stories from across Portugal.

Within that broader programme, Susana presented her path from architecture to visual art and discussed the reinvention of the Arraiolos stitch in contemporary art. The conversation focused on the relationship between tradition and experimentation, and on how a technique deeply connected to Portuguese heritage can continue to evolve through new artistic approaches.
